The SwitchBot Smart Automatic Curtain Opener 2 Pack with Hub Mini provides convenient smart control for your curtains with app, timer, voice, and remote-control functionality. Designed for easy installation, the system attaches to compatible existing curtain rods without drilling or specialized tools, making it suitable for bedrooms, living rooms, offices, nurseries, and other indoor spaces.
The 2025 upgraded design features an enlarged main guide wheel that can pass over bumps up to 4mm and supports loads up to 8kg. Its upgraded motor is 2 times stronger than the previous generation and can smoothly move heavy curtains weighing up to 15kg (33 lbs). Positioning magnets provide more precise curtain movement without requiring calibration and help reduce unwanted light gaps.
For quieter operation, Silent Mode reduces operating noise to below 25dB while moving the curtains at a slower speed. This mode is designed for quieter environments such as bedrooms and can also help reduce energy consumption during operation.
The SwitchBot system supports smart-home control through Alexa, Google Home, HomeKit, SmartThings, and smartphone devices. Matter and Apple HomeKit functionality are available through compatible SwitchBot Hub 2 or Hub 3 devices, which are sold separately. The included Hub Mini provides connectivity for smart control and automation through the SwitchBot ecosystem.
The system uses Bluetooth connectivity and includes lithium-ion batteries. It offers a maximum wireless range of up to 80 meters and provides a convenient way to automate curtain opening and closing with schedules and smart-home routines.
